Richard came to the Bar after 20 years as a solicitor both in the UK and since 1991, with Phillips Fox in their insurance litigation team in Sydney.
Although he is probably better known in the media law area where he has acted for book and magazine publishers as well as television companies in relation to both pre publication and dispute issues, Richard also has a broad commercial litigation practice as well. This includes professional indemnity and insurance related issues, equity including mortgage and conveyancing disputes, product liability and probate litigation.
