With particular expertise in corporate and commercial law and equity and trusts, Bettina has extensive experience across multiple practice areas.
She regularly advises and acts for individual and corporate clients in a diverse range of disputes, at both trial and appellate level, and has appeared in the High Court of Australia, the Full Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the New South Wales Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the District and Local Courts of New South Wales and the Land and Environment Court. She has also appeared before the New South Wales Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
Her comprehensive litigation experience extends to appearing in special leave applications, appeals, hearings, and duty judge and interlocutory applications. Bettina also accepts briefs to appear for parties at arbitrations, mediations, and inquests and inquiries.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Bettina practised as a Solicitor at top-tier law firm Clayton Utz, during which time she was involved in several complex and high profile disputes. She has also published articles in legal journals and law reviews, and has presented papers at industry forums. Bettina is admitted to practice in New South Wales and in the Courts of the Dubai International Finance Centre.
