Mark is entitled to appear in the courts of all jurisdictions in Australia and New Zealand.
Mark regularly appears in the Supreme Court of NSW and the Federal Court of Australia. He has been briefed in proceedings at all levels of the NSW and Australian Federal court hierarchies, as well as in the High Court of New Zealand. He has acted in the Supreme Courts of the ACT, Victoria, and Western Australia, and in the Victorian and Western Australian Courts of Appeal. Mark has also appeared in several inquests and inquiries, including the ICAC’s Operation Acacia, and in various administrative tribunals. Mark’s approach to any litigation is to seek the most practical solution to any given situation.
His clients include local health authorities, local councils, Aboriginal land councils, public companies, financial institutions, private companies, and individuals.
Prior to coming to the Bar in 2010 Mark was a solicitor practising in commercial law and equity, local government law, administrative law, common law, and criminal law.
He was Tipstaff to Mr Justice R.S. Hulme in the Supreme Court of NSW from 2004 to 2006.
