On 13 October 2023, Oliver Berkmann appeared on behalf of the Chief Commissioner before the Appeal Panel in NCAT. The appeal was brought by the Taxpayer and concerned the imposition of Surcharge Land Tax. The Chief Commissioner was successful in defending the proceedings.
