Prior to coming to the bar, Alexander practised as a solicitor at a large national firm for four years specialising in banking and finance, insolvency, and corporations law. Alexander also has experience in franchising matters, litigated commercial disputes, strategic debt recovery for the Australian Taxation Office and matters involving allegations of minority shareholder oppression.
Alexander was a Judge’s Associate in the District Court of New South Wales and, as a law student, assisted junior and senior counsel in family, medical negligence, health and administrative law cases.
Alexander accepts all briefs in private and public law. His primary areas of interest are taxation, corporations and insolvency law, and family law.
