Nicholas came to the New South Wales Bar in 2017. He conducts trials in courts and appeals in intermediate appellate courts throughout Australia.
Nicholas specialises in insurance, disciplinary, professional responsibility and equity matters.
Nicholas has an extensive practice in acting for (and against) insurers across various lines of insurance, often acts for professionals in civil claims and frequently acts for regulators in disciplinary proceedings.
Before coming to the Bar, Nicholas was a solicitor and in-house counsel, specialising in insurance and financial services law.
Nicholas guest lectures at the University of Technology, Sydney.
Nicholas has written papers (sometimes published in journals) and presented on litigation, insurance law and ethics.
