Peter specialises in tax, tax crime, commercial law and equity.
Peter advises and appears for taxpayers, corporations and individuals at trial and on appeal, mostly in matters with large volumes of material or special complexity, including cross-border transactions and litigation across multiple international jurisdictions.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Peter practised as a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques (now King & Wood Mallesons), a top-tier law firm, in banking and finance law. He previously worked at ANZ Bank’s Global Treasury, in fixed interest, derivatives, foreign exchange and project finance.
Peter is a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, a Member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from the University of New South Wales.
