Anthony has advised and appeared for public and private companies, banks and individuals. He has appeared in a wide range of commercial disputes in the Federal Court of Australia, the Supreme Court, District Court and Local Court of New South Wales, as well as various tribunals.
Anthony has developed a specialty in matters involving issues of commercial law, including contractual disputes, shareholder remedies, restraints of trade, real and intellectual property, banking and finance, mortgages, insolvency, cross-border enforcement, fiduciary duties, trust arrangements and international taxation.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Anthony practised as an Associate Solicitor in the Commercial and Finance Department, Derivatives & Structured Finance Group, at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP in London. He also worked as in-house Legal Counsel at a Mitsubishi Corporation subsidiary engaged in commodity derivatives trading, and as an Analyst in the Fixed Income Currency and Commodity Swaps Department of Goldman Sachs, in London.
Anthony speaks regularly at industry forums on matters of commercial, corporations and insolvency law.
